I wish life could be like the movies. Where everything turns out perfect at the end of the story one way or another. The hero finishes her quest, gets the guy and pursues her dreams. But unfortunately, they only make movies like that so people think life can be like that, but there aren't really secret agents who go around the world saving people from a villain that wants to freeze time or princesses who are swept off their feet by a man.
My friend today said that over 120 species of animals have have gone extinct in the last 400 years, and she says that's not a lot. THAT IS A LOT. 120 species we could've saved! 120 species! And imagine how many animals in each specie that was! Our society is killing the natural resources and polluting the population, and now they're trying to tell us that only 120 species have died out, so there's nothing to worry about. It's all good.
I don't think my mom is very happy about all my complaining about the earth and how the government is taking over our minds and making us think that what we think isn't important, but it is. We all have our own individual minds. And my mom just doesn't see that. I don't want to keep quiet. Like, for example, she wants me to take Biology and I said I refuse to dissect a poor little frog. Why do we have to do it anyway? It's not like we're going to need to know how to cut open a frog anytime soon.
Anyway, I have to go. I'm supposed to be writing my novel by now, and so far I've been writing on here.
